I have a friend whose garage that I've been using to disassemble my engine and get a few things on the engine straightened out on the engine. First thing is that the case need to have some work done on it. The beginning of Nov. I send a case off to Calif. to have some work done on it. My friend has a friend that he use to work with at a Porsche dealership 30 years ago, they keep in touch once in a while. So last week my friend calls me and tells me he had heard from an old friend of his that he use to work with at the porsche dealership.

My friend tells this guy that he's helping a friend of his with his 914 and tells him about having to send a case off to Calif. to have some work done it. This guys tells my friend that he has a new Porsche 914 case in his garage and has had it for over 30 years and has never been used.

Long story short, he brought the case over to my friends garage and I bought it for 50 bucks, thats all he was asking for it. Its a GA case with the duel oil pressure relief valves. So now I have an unused GA case to build a motor. I'm a lucky dog for finding this. This guys tells my friend that he has some more new parts and will bring them over for me to take a look at. Can't wait to see what else this guys has.

How many new cases ya think would be out there hiding somewhere. piratenanner.gif
