Kent, OK, so I did a little test fitting and it seems like unless I cut the MC hole so that the MC comes through a bit it's not going to bolt up right. Here's a pic of the two MC's: The Wilwood body is significantly shorter on the pin side, and it smashed up pretty close against the front of the firewall/back side of the pedal area when we installed them. The Honda one is at least an inch longer. Doesn't seem like there's any way I can bolt it up without cutting the hole out so that the MC can go through the firewall area a bit. Does that make sense? I'm totally fine cutting the hole, just making sure I'm not messing it up. Because once you cut...THAT'S IT!
Here are the pics... You can see the difference between the two..the wilwood is HUGE The Honda pin is so easy to depress compared to the wilwood. I had to add several washers to the bolts just to get it to clamp to the bracket. Neither bolt is lined up ON the bracket...probably need a new one or an additional piece added. Take a look at the stock photo. The bolts would have to be removed because they are not threaded all the way down and we'd run out of threads, Unless...we bolt it to the car like the MC is...haven't looed to see how it lines up underneath. Probably would not work but worth a look.
Kent, Quick question on the clutch MC bracket. I have a 19mm MC that looks like this: Do I want the bracket to go just underneath the brake MC like this: Or do I need to trim it so it does not make contact with underside of teh brake MC sorta like this: It looks like yours makes contact with the underside of the brake master cylinder but just wanted to make sure before I cut the floor.
