there is already a Fall Foliage Run scheduled for Brown County, IN, around the last week of October this year; Joy and i are planning to attend. i wouldn't want an Eastern event to conflict too much with 'Legacy' events (although this is not always possible ...) especially if they are in the northern 1/3 of the Eastern seaboard.

i bet we could piggyback onto the Lime Rock vintage event with little difficulty - some clubs already do this ...

you want Maine, you go talk to Joan. she can probably even find the time more easily than i can.

Nice try (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . Don't think anyone would come to my part of Maine, I'm 8 hours up the coast from Boston, right across from Canada. It's gorgeous, especially in fall, got some good roads, 20 foot tides, and that's about it.

I'm in and I think Dover, DE is first choice, Pocano's, PA second, Lime Rock third. And October, Coumbus Day weekend is the time to do it.

otherwise, i could just hold the 'greater Schoolhouse Road Classic' in my driveway and party with myself when i want.

I don't want to know how the rest of that event works out... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Deal's Gap 318 curves in 11 miles. Doesn't get any better than that.
