We already know it's stunningly gorgeous. I love The color pattern. So simple and yet very professional. I like it. It's got that "I don't need to be orange to kick a$$" look to it.

I'm kinda tired, as I've only had two hours sleep since yesterday morning (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

It was worth it though. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/popcorn[1].gif)

Glad you all like it, thanks for the words!

Hey Trekkor,

Awesome! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Dan, somehow we've fallen far behind Mr. T in the 914 re-assembly line...... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

I wonder if I can get The Beast running by 2007?... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)

Congratulations Trekkor....the car looks great.

Will you be at the first GGR time trial? I will, but Doris' MBA program will most likely keep her out of action at Sears.

you're right Bill (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) I guess next time I should do my own body and paint work (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

I will be at Sears to instruct but don't think there is any way I will have the car ready. Shooting for TT #2 and CDS #1.

Trekkor has shown us his tailpipe this time. We will see on the track (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

It's the factory metalic red used on Ford's from 2001.
The white is our "Light Ivory" L08 ( IIRC ) factory color.

I tried several metalic reds. The problem was finding a colr that was available in PPG's Omni system ( base and clear )

Yes, when I look at my car now, I can imagine it on a track back in the 70's (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)

Nice work Trekkor; that is a paint job that'll make you happy every time you look at it for years.

How many man hours do you figure in the entire job start to finish?

How long do you have to wait until you can rub it out?

How many man hours

I'm going to estimate 120.

80 of mine
10 of Raymundo
30 of Brandon.

Could be a tad higher. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

I want to rub it all out with 1500 wet next weekend.
