Does anyone have better pictures of that spoiler/wing on the rear of the Blue 914, with 944 front bumper?

With that huge rocker panel I don't see a line for an operational door. Did he cut the door down? I kinda like that kit too. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) |

The reason I ask, is I have access to the molds for that spoiler and a few other pieces. I wanted to see if there was enough interest to make some.

Regarding the blue car with the 944 (actually 951) front; this is the one photo angle where it looks a little weird for the car, IMO. In the rest of the photo's, it really looks quite good. I suspect this is the kind of thing that needs to be seen in person. Perhaps someone here has seen it? Rennspeed sells an f'glass part that could be modified to fit. I called around regarding this part which apparently Rennegade had made sometime back to fit the 914. I seem to recall that they didn't sell very well, and the mold was eventually destroyed. I seem to recall that the headlights are from a late model Chevy pickup. Andys |

The name of the company was Aero Dynamics Corp. The advertised 5 - 10 years ago in VW publications. A front & rear valance, rocker covers, and that large wing/spoiler, sorta like the one on Blue/944 conversion. I need pictures, comments, anything. I am considering making them again, but want some feed back from the group before I try it. Hoping to get pictures on cars, so I can get your reaction.

These are the only pics I had of this car but he has a web site with a few more. The car is called "Blue Thunder". I know he is a member here because there is a thread of some body damage getting repaired when some old lady side swiped him or something.
I have the FG Rennspeed bumper and after taking measurments and sizing it up, it looks like it needs to be stretched about 3-4" wider to fit the 914 front properly. This will let it sit back closer to the bumper mounts and not stick out so far as that one picture looks. A 951 splitter finishes off the look for this front end. I'll post pics as I widen and fit this thing up.... Attached image(s) |

ok, one more with the splitter and then I promise to quit posting. Sorry about the hijack.
Can someone photo shop up something as was originally requested? These threads always get the creative ideas flowing..... Attached image(s) |

certainly, I have a progress/lack of progress thread going and I will post photos of the bumper stretch there as well as other items of interest.
Now back to the topic at hand, Andyrew, have any of these front bumpers perked your interest? Anything you would like to see modified or changed on one of them? |

This one
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-2-1142803019.jpg) with the center of the bumper coming in more, making the bottom of the bumper protrude out much less. still having the smooth shape. |

Maybe more like a Sheridan bumper that tucks under just a bit but still has a lip?
