It is cheaper and readily available from Homedepot. I also used Rust Bullet instead of POR15. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores...;endecaDataBean |

I still don't like the stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

BE CAREFUL. it will want to stick to anything it touches instantly. for etching on teh cheap HD racing as suggested above, has what you need. frazee paint stores sell Ospho. other places sell Jasco. etching takes time. how long you leave the stuff n there is fairly important |

I just don't like the idea of scraping off all that old tar and fixing the rust to then seal everything off afterward so water can get back in and start rusting my car again. So, my idea is to paint the floors etc. after rust removal and then add the sound padding material to the backside of the carpet. I think this would still work pretty well and makes for easy removal to inspect the floors every once in a while. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

It works quite well and it didn't cost a small fortune like dyno mat. It made a world of difference. A friend of mine that builds off road trucks told me about it and i didn't believe him. I plan on getting mine done as soon is i'm finished with the rust. The drawback is the weight, if you race your car it does add a good bit of weight. |
