We bought luggage trackers from GEGO and used them on an overseas trip. After the trip, we are wiring them into the 914s, our BMW and our trailer.
https://www.gego.io/products/gego-universal-tracker They work anywhere in the world, and can be hard wired into the car to keep the internal battery charged. So if the battery in the car is disconnected, it will still keep working for about a week or so until the battery goes dead. And it has location history, so even if it is turned off or blocked from GPS signals, the system remembers it's last location. Personally, I think it is cheap insurance. |

Currently I use Air Tags and at $21 a pop not a bad deal. However, to remain reliable they need to be changed out yearly. They're small enough to stash away on a 914 w/o detection. I like the idea that these GEGO's can be hard wired so it's a set & forget it tool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I wired a ring doorbell in the garage. Now if the door is opened, I know it.
