I took a look through my pictures and don't have any of the exhaust aft of the headers. I would snap a few but unfortunately I had to pull the engine back out. The used motor that I bought started to make some very ominous noises that sounded like it was coming from the timing chains. The engine came with a warranty, so the decision was made to return it. I am now on a quest to find a replacement and have not been successful as of yet. It maybe telling me to take the summer off of 914 wrenching and get some other projects completed. Sorry to hear that after all of your hard work and the initial startup - hope you got some good miles in before she puked! If you had to pull the system and it's on the ground, maybe some pics of that...

Unfortunately I didn't get to drive it much before I had to pull the motor. I did drive it long enough to know without a doubt that the 3.0L is the right motor for the car!

I will try and get a few pictures of the exhaust system posted early next week.

If I can find a motor it shouldn't take more than a weekend to get it installed and running. The key is finding one.

Damn Ray. Sorry to hear that man. Sucks to be in summer & not have your 914 to drive. I am in the same boat. Not because of a bad motor. I just haven't had time to put into mine. Still have hopes to make it before summer is over. Just finished moving into our new home. Been a while since we owned a place so that is cool. Unfortunately my heat pump took a shit a week after moving in. Plus I am finding all sorts of crap I have to fix besides. My car budget is pretty shot for quite a while (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

I am shooting for the coveted 914 trophy given to the guy with the most engine swaps and fewest driven miles! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) It appears that the dreaded jack stands flew is spreading. Maybe your car caught it from mine last year at the RRC. LOL. But seriously, bummer about the heat pump! It sounds like you need to have a 914 engine installation party. I wish I lived closer. I would be happy to give you a hand.
