Still open until December 10th, right? I need a full set of the 47 color for my '72. My wife says it is a Christmas present. Woo hoo.

Yep, today they are still on GB.
-Mark

Thanks. I will take a full set of - #47. Does the $361 including shipping? Just send paypal?

I think John Forbes (Black Forest Racing) needed a set as well. I hope to see him this afternoon, and will mention it to him.

Hey Mark,

I'm in for a set of #42. I've wanted to do this for years, had pretty much given up hope- thank you! How much extra for the bolsters and how do I pay?

I have them set up here. This allows my assistant to process while I'm out making the process faster.

I have this set up on the site. For some reason the GB price wasn't working should be corrected now.
Sorry the price isn't with shipping, but it's about $20 via Fedex with tracking fully insurred.

Just ordered the set. It has been a while since I was this excited to buy something for the 914. I think they are going to look great. Thanks for doing these.

Sent you an email yesterday for a black/grey set and some extra vinyl to cover the side bolsters on a pair of renegade hybrid touring seats. Thanks.

I'll let Mark answer that one, because I'm not sure. I originally ordered black/grey, but through some honest mistakes got red plaid. Mark* said "let me ship it to you, I think you'll like it or I'll take it back for a full refund" and he was right: it looks great with this car color so I'm keeping it.

No photos yet; seats and covers are loaded in the back of the GTI for delivery to a local upholstery shop (I chickened out and decided to let a pro do it). But as soon as it comes back I'll post some photos.

GA

* I've had nothing but positive interactions with this guy. I seriously can't say enough positives. I hope that someday - after we all have our cars all done, of course - the market for these cars goes vertical and he gets to sit back in the Bahamas, sipping Pina Coladas, enjoying all that profit from this clever venture.

That was supposed to be my set but the stitching option got crossed up with another order. I want the stock look but the red stitching looks really good. Glad you found a home for them. I knew you would. BTW: if the color looks that bright in person it is going to be a perfect fit in the Raspberry car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

I am gong with the stock look stitching too. But, the red stitching does look cool. I agree that that is pretty bright. Looks great.

Just a heads up on these, those of you that got the Group buy got an exceptional value. I just gut my bill fro my upholstery guy and what he charged was per seat, not per set. I actually paid a good chunk more than what I charged. As I don't put much margin on these it but me a little.

To those of you that stepped up and bought on the GB, thank you and merry Christmas. My gift to you for being the 1st to step up.

The production is slower than I'd like, but we are truing them out. Got another 2 sets ready and will have one more Friday. My guy will be out til Jan 7 and will be doing these 1st when he returns.

The Black / gray will be ready this next week and we will have it staged and ready to go as soon as he returns. It sucks that it took so long to get it done, but the pattern was taking off the loom as they thought they were done. The set up to do these is a pain, but it's why we did them all.

So you will notice the new price for the sets has bumped up a little.

I thought that was incredibly cheap. I think we will have to make it up to you over the coming year. I think this deal cost you more than a "bit". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Thank you for sticking your neck out here. And Merry Christmas to you too!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) For those of you who haven't seen these in person yet, the materials and work are spectacular! I know that Mark won't ask, but I would gladly pay more to make it right. But since he won't ask, I will just keep buying from him whenever he comes out with a new product.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas Mark!
