Nice looking car, but a wierd description of the car. Does he have the Title? Why doesn't he get the valves adjusted or is there something else wrong?

It certainly appears to be a nice car; but who does a repaint/restoration with the side windows in the car? I would just want to crawl over this car carefully. Still, it looks nice in the pictures.

I never can understand why sellers can't/don't vacuum their cars before taking photos when listing them for sale. If your so lazy about something so easy, what does it say about the important things that need to be done?

Notice the screws in the center counsel, they look like self tapping sheet metal screws. Also to start out with a rusty car like that.I would pass on this one. With all the dirt in the interior that shows how the owner takes care of his car's,not that well....

The correct wheels ( Fuchs) for a 1970 would be 14"s, though you also have Steelies or Gasburners.

The seller probably meant they were Real Fuchs.

This wasn't a bad car. Has had some battery area repair but never damaged and not body rotted, purchased new here in Atlanta. Engine is not correct, paint job is just ok, interior redone ok had nice bilstein shocks. Low serial number never had driving lights or carpet securing tabs. Certainly in today's market WELL worth $20,000!!!!

Woops that cannot be the same car! The one we sold long ago was not rusted!!!!! Looks like the same serial number though as I remember and it only sold for about six grand back then!

Not sure we're talking about the same car. Pics from the restoration:

maybe the VIN came from the rust bucket in the other photos? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

that said, this car looks great in the photos. I'm not sure it's worth the stated 25k, at least to me it's not..

These days if we don't find it sitting under a tree on a street where we make a wrong turn on our way to church and pay $800 for it..............not worth it!

AND I was going to bid until I saw that the rubber washers weren't original!

Phew.....I'm always so glad this board is here to 'protect' us all!
