Thats the movie trailer for "The Porsche Way" dvd that came out last year and at that time was only available at the Porsche Muesum store. Johannes was so kind to assist in buying and shipping for 914World.

Thanks again Johannes !!!

In Europe every basic Pal DVD player car read NTSC and convert the signal to Pal. But US hardware are mosty built cheapo and the player or the TV may not be able to read the DVD.

What does the TV care? You mean you have to have a PAL tv also? I thought if you sent the TV a signal, it would display it.

if you try to play PAL on NTSC tv's it is normally discolored and it looks like your watching old scrambled television. its actually a different format and different resolution's
http://www.diffen.com/difference/NTSC_vs_PAL

edit: easiest way to see the differences is when you 'hack' a video game console and make it play a PAL without conversion on an NTSC tv. its a lovely display although impossible to play.
