the big bumpers are starting to grow on me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Just a bit different from the majority...and I don't have to worry as much about dents or rust (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

My BUBs weight the same as the early bumpers! And probably protect about as well too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Zach, do you have pics of how the back side looked after removing the beams and how did you mount them to the shocks after that modification? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think King George spoke about the advantage of these bumpers somewhere. I just can't remember . Maybe it was a podcast. I think he said something about the aerodynamics offset the weight gain. Shoot me if I'm wrong but I swear I remember that because I have them, too.

Dan I never put up my own post on it,but I know I threw my info out there. If you don't find it I can redo a post later. I designed & built the car with the semi stock d-jet to pass smog & it did! I did the same with my bumpers. I got 11.5#s out of the rear and 6.5 out of the front. I could have done more, but Ididn't want to completely compromise them.
