Well. Huh. Look at that.

I guess we DID have a good time at ECC.

More info will be forthcoming.

Zach (probably an idiot, but only 1/2 an idiot.)

Zach!

Did you buy this to build a racecar?

What would you power it with?

Yup, team monkey fuckups is on the grid. We talked this over at the ECC, I got home last night and during my normal E-bay searches found this.....seemed like a sign. Now on with Zach and Scotty's autocross adventure.

Paint scheme is decided on, I have a 2.0 with 8,000 original miles on it ( dropped a valve ) to use. Not sure where we will go with that. I'm thinking maybe a 2015 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) This one just seemd too good to pass up, between the cage already in it, chassis kit on it, flares on it. Saves us ALOT of time building all of that. Time that neither of us has right now. I have an early 911 that has been a parts car, most likely it will be donating the front suspension and brakes. Time will tell. I have to go pick it up, asess the REAL state of the tub, and then we have a lot of decision making to do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

M#th*r f%ck$ng group buys..........It's better than waking up with the clap right ??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Scott, I have a 2.0 case and rods too. We need to look at the rules and see what class we want to do. But I was thinking getting some 103 cast iron cylinders, and running stock 2.0 stroke. Maybe a web 86A cam, dual valve springs and have an engine that can rev higher then stock. Would heat soak on long drives, but for AX or maybe even short road car sessions I bet it would be fine. I don't have heads, we will have to see about what we want to do there. I am looking forwards to building another engine.

Also, I have that 5 lug setup I bought from Mike which is still at your shop. We can put that on the car too. I'm really excited about this.

Put stock, rusty everything in it --- and race www.chumpcar.com I did the exact same thing - bought a rockin tub that was an ex-autocross car --- and bought a complete $400 parts car that rusted in 1/2 but had a 2.0 running -

The motor for my silver car that you have Scott is going to be about 200HP and 200Lbs of torque, might have to use it til you get my car ready. All new stuff, just needs assembly.

All us married guys can guess the way the conversation went when Zach got home.

Honey, I bought another project car. But don't worry, Scott and I already have the parts so it won't really cost us anything and we'll share the work so I'll have time for the family.

Zach's wife - Does Scott have an extra bed or are you guys going to share?

Erin actually liked the idea, so long as we keep it on a budget and I don't ask her to move her daily driver out of the garage. I am sure its going to live at Scotty's place at least at first, which will also insulate me a little. Out of sight, out of mind.

Start getting your tow vehicle and trailer in line as it doesn't look like you will get license tags... Didn't Matt mention monthly Eastcoast tech sessions? Rod, you out there?

Just having fun at your expense. If there are any extra parts from my car that you guys can use, they're yours. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
