At least it drives... Or did you decide your doing this to the 6 tub? Naaa, that's the red car. But maybe now you can see my point why i've been thinking about building up the /6 instead. Just as much work if you want to do it right ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

Remember Andy, I was one of the guys saying to hack up that 6 chassis... My argument was that properly modified 6's are worth more than properly modified 4's... Maybe as much as you were going to sell the chassis for.
However now you have to buy all the parts you were going to reuse on the red car.. And probably put a cage. So you've got 15k in parts you have to buy now... But at least you'd have 2 cars (unless you sold one...) |

Given your plans, do it to the six tub instead.
Get a cage in there and the tub will look more appealing once you know its solid. You have are replacing bodywork in your plan anyways... Do it to the tub The nice part is that you can drive your car while you work on the tub. I suspect someone will buy your red car in the spring if you can find another motor for the tub. Think of how nice a fresh new wiring harness will be...now THAT is a winter/kitchen table project that I KNOW you loved the first time. Rich |

Andy, I while back I saw somebody selling some new FG GT bumpers/spoiler/valance on TheSamba, but don't recall when/where nor quality. I'd also seen someone selling a F&R decklids & F&R GT bumpers in CF there too. May be worth perusing their ads back to front?
