I was wondering if anyone has the factory and/or personal test numbers(0-60, 1/4 mi) of a stock 914 73 2.0L and any other 914 models.

The 240Z was quite a bargain in it's day. Few weeks ago seen one of those Jensen Healys in a park. Cool little car. Owner said it had the lotus 4 in it. Was in excellent original shape.

numbers like that really make you question all the ebay ads that say "it's very fast". fast compared to someone on a 10 speed bike but that's about it.

Using a g-tech pro, I got the following for my '74 2.0

0-60 8.7 sec
qtr mile 16.68 sec @ 84.7mph

Pretty close to the numbers in the road test posted above. My gas mileage also matches the road test (18-21mpg)

Yep - completely stock. Although HAD would be a more appropriate way to put it. This is what it looks like as of yesterday.

My completely stock '73 1.7L 914 with unknown mileage (75k on clock) and 205-60-15 tires would do 0-60 in about 10.5 seconds plus or minus about .5 seconds depending on fuel load, temperature, passenger load, etc. This was pre gtech using a stopwatch. It was very consistently 10-11 seconds every time I tested it.

From the Porsche Tech-Spec book:

0-62 mph:

13 12 10.5 seconds

Standing kilometer:

34.5 33.5 32

Top speed (mph):

108 110 115

With half payload, 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 respectively.

Clearly mine is not stock, but its' done the 1/4 mile in 13.8 at 99 mph and did 0-60 in 5.2seconds using a G-tech before I turned it up with new batteries. I estimate its about 5.0 seconds for current 0-60 times.
I'm guessing that the v8's are quicker, but this one is still fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)
