I noticed that a lot of us are college students both currently and formerly and was wondering who, what, where, etc. I'll go first, San Diego State University class of '05, BA in psychology with Pre-Med representing.

Eric Ciampa- Currently attending Azusa Pacific University double majoring in Communications and Biblical Studies. Just starting my senior year but will graduate a semester late.
WHy not also include if you are able to take your 914 to school (important if school is far way). I had to leave mine back home in NorCal.

I'm attending Lamar University - College of Engineering, Bachelor of Science - Industrial Technology. At night, it's slow going, but if I get laid-off again, it's full time. G-68 hours and counting.

Well I'm going to be going to the University of Oregon next month to start my first term. I have no idea what i'm gona do, as long as I can get a job in something that won't just drive me nut's and I can still have dough to work on porsche's I don't care. So we'll see. No I'm not taking the 914, but I'm thinking about trading in my Audi for a Miata. I've yet to deside how stupid it is, but god know's it would be much cheaper. Audi's are hell to maintain in my experience.

Eric,
You should take the 914. I have applied to med school in Oregon and I am bringing mine (if I get accepted and go there)...of course I have no choice (no storage).

Not quite a college student yet, but I plan on going to Rochester Insititute of Techonology to work on a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (automotive option).

Yes, I do plan to bring the 914. I'll probably have to attach a snowplow to it, though.

Just graduated from Lehigh, got my BS in Mech E last year, and got an extra year free so I got another BS in Elec E.

Got a job working for a company making a product that harnesses the energy in ocean waves and translates it into electrical energy. Pretty cool stuff, uses both my degrees, and, well, just doing my part to save the world. As an added bonus, many island nations are interested in this technology, so travel opportunities are excellent.

Biggest bonus of all, now I have money to spend on my 914. When I finally get the t4 engine in my Beetle all sorted out, I'll show you the pics of my hell hole. You'll then know why I need that money (gotta get me a MIG!).

Dr. Evil,
yeah, I kinda wish I could take the teener, but it's just got so much to do to it to make it a daily driver. IO's more of a weekend car right now. I really don't wanat a car that I know I will have to work on as my daily driver. So I guess the Audi will have to do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .But it would be so much fun to take the top off and blast out of town on the weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . So which medical school? You going to OHSU? It's an awesome place. Hope you get accepted, we can always use more teeners up here.

I'm currently at West Valley College with tentative plans to go into pediatric nursing. I'll probably transfer to San Jose State for the nursing classes.

We'll see. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
