Lisa...thanks. I do all the work myself except for the painting (done by a local guy who specializes in corvette restorations). Don't golf so this is my personal time habit! The 914 sat in a southern calif desert for the last 6 years, the paint, all rubber and the entire interior were shot and so dry you just touched things and it cracked off (but the body was very solid). The 911 was an Indiana car (2nd owner) and was originally brown with a really worn brown interior (it was a narrow body also..wide body is all factory porsche parts). This one was just driven and driven and never cared for. The 928 was owned by a guy for 10 years that knew nothing about porsches (it was in the best shape of the 3) and he let this car just sit. It had alot of electrical issues when I got it and just plain weather worn.
