Gonna be cruisin your car to Japan, Hawaii, or Europe? That is a ship engine, so I guess you could call your car a ship? Lots of power though. I wouldnt want to pay for the fuel to run that thing. Each tank would cost you as much as another teener.

actually, jakes motors kick its ass in hp/litre. That thing makes barely over 4 hp/litre.

In torque however, it kicks ass. 220 lb/ft per litre.

Now that would spin the wheels.

I don't recall exactly, but I think I read somewhere the average tanker will use 6 gallons of fuel to move it 12 inches accross the water. That may not be right, but I remember it was gallons per foot traveled. Either way, a staggering amount of fuel to use. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

BOOOO HIIISSSSS!
at least you could install a german designed engine like these:
http://www.rustyiron.com/engines/vernon/

I actually overhauled these monsters in the 80's,
3 foot bore and two foot stroke made in the 30's.
supercharger was run by a 150 hp electric motor.

Since this feels like another crazy swap thread I think a big
custom 4 in this version would be nice!
