If you use Eastwoods Etching Spray do you still need to use a self etching primer? It would be used on a frame. Probably a dumb question but you don't learn if you don't ask.. Besides, there are no dumb questions, just dumb people.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Thanks

I'm not familiar with Eastwood's spray. I've used their internal frame coating spray. Actually I used it on a 914 rear lid between the inner structure and outer skin.

My suggestion would be to contact them and ask. They have a on-line chat function that worked well for me when I asked them about dry time for the stuff I used.

Thank you Rick.. Apparently they don't recommend using etching primer if you used any other form of etching.. Good to know! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)
