Nice looking car!
Your front left headlight is drooping. Easy adjustment - but I can't remember how. I think it is adjusted with the pivot mounts. When you open the front trunk, and look to the inside of the headlight buckets, you will see a triangle shaped piece of metal with 3 bolts fastening it. There is an identical (actually, not sure it's identical) triange piece on the opposite side of the headlight bucket accessible inside of the fender (access through the wheel well). Loosen the bolts, to adjust the position of the headlight. You may have to re-aim your headlights after doing this. Like I said, I'm not 100% sure, because it has been many years since I have done this adjustment. Good Luck Demick |

Hey.. nice looking car! Welcome to the BBS!
Demick, you're right on target with that advice. Also, you can pull the turn signal bucket to adjust the ones in the fenderwell. (If you have small hands like I do.) -Rusty |

Join the club. Most of our cars look better in pictures than they do in the flesh. I know mine does!

Welcome Nathan! At least yours runs and is on the road.
Hey check out thi pic (IMG:http://www.914world.com/members/ginter/MVC-226F.JPG) See that screw with the locknut up against the back side of the headlight "frame"? I'm reasonably certain that it's a stop that also could be used for adjustment of the headlight lid. Yours may even be missing. Check for this screw on both sides. I've haven't looked really hard as I'm taking the car apart anyway, but given the placement of this screw, I'm pretty sure it's the stop for the lid. Let us know would ya? |
