And let me tell you, that must have been a big ass cow. Got the leather for my interior today, it smells awesome. Its huge. I am thinking this should be enough to do the whole interior in the car. The grain is very consistent and even. Should make for a nice interior. The smell is really strong when I opened the box. And it is so soft. I can hardly wait. Now I just need to find someone to do it for me. I dont have a machine that will sew it.

Scott - if you have any leather left over, I need a piece to fix a spot on the top of my dash. I am also thinking about wrapping some parts of the roll cage. LMK. $$$

The cow was $100.00 plus $10 shipping. I am happy with it which is really all that matters.
There is a guy on Ebay that sells them also. You can find him here and he is about the same price. Leather |

$110! I may have to start sourcing my leather there and bringing it to my shop. Their leather prices are steap. I will be checking on what the labor alone will cost for people that supply their own leather. I will hopefully have an answer this weekend.

Skline.
There is a place in Costa Mesa that does some of the finest upholstering on this planet. The owners name is Jesse Radillo, Everyone from Leno to me uses his services. And he is very reasonable. Especially when you consider the quality. I know a couple other guys in the BIG OC that can also handle that job.. Let me know if ya need a couple more recomendations.......... You may want to check in with Jesse Radillo before you pull the trigger on who is going to do the work for you.... Plus he is about ten blocks from you. !!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) Tell him Clayton sent ya.......... Radillo Coachworks 1621 Ohms Way Costa Mesa, CA 92627-4328 (949) 631-4846 |
