Yup, only 30 more days till the WCC. Hopefully most of you attending are ready, some of us are not or at least I am not. Both cars still need to be primered and both still need mucho body work. I am going to cut off the mangled piece from my rear fender and replace it. There are holes and stuff in it and I just dont think it will ever be right. I think I will get to it today. I have to kick some major bottom to get these done in time. Anyone who wants to stop by and assist is welcome. Lots of sanding to do and prepping. It wont be perfect but it will be close. I hope most of you are more ready than I am.

reassemble the inside of the car
going to put new front rotors, bearings and pads
maybe put front stock calibers on the rear

Well I have a lot of the engine together. We're designing a new fuel injection kit so that's taking some time...

(IMG:http://autoatlanta.com/service/914makeover/week22/037-sm.JPG)

And I have my Euro lenses in the car.
(IMG:http://autoatlanta.com/service/914makeover/week22/008-sm.JPG)

It's still going to be close for me.

Greg

I had no idea that you were planning to drive a 914 to the WCC, much less the extreme makover car. I just looked at the progress pictures - looks great! But like you said, it's going to be close. I'd be interested to hear more about your custom fuel injection system. Look forward to seeing you there.

Let's see, on my checklist is:
1 check tire pressure
2 check oil
3 pack car
4 get gas
5 cross fingers that I make it there and back

I think I can handle that!
