My switch for the headlights / instrumentation is shot.

What is the best way to replace it?

I pulled mine from the dash and replaced wire by wire. There's also a color diagram on pelican if you get messed up. I did the same wire by wire switch to replace my fuse panel.

Unscrew the knob. Remove the silver retaining nut (slotted) with a coin or other item that will fit the slots and it should drop right out!
