Andy take a " not so shitty" pic

I have tons of Weber 0-rings, they are for IDAs but there may be one that fits closely enough.

they're the same for the idle jets and the mixture screw, you need 8 for 2 carbs, but the kit only comes with 4, so i need another 4 of them ...

When I tightened my jet, the o-ring just slipped over the top. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

What should I do?

i was thinking about that too. the exploded parts diagram shows o-rings in the idle air mixture needle valves. i'm not so sure mine has them in (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) . o-rings are pretty generic in size. even the ones in the idle jet holder should be inspected on a once a year basis imho. when they are cracked it can be hard to see unless you use a sharp eye. the ring on the air mix screw makes sense. it regulates the passageway controlling air bypassing the butterflies. if air is coming in around the screw it could affect tuning maybe? i have a tiny sneeze at thottle tip in. i know exactly what cyl it's coming from. thomlinsons' manual covers this nicely on p.64. note the throttle plate positioning at the upper opening. pretty important. how do you check this?
