Looking towards front, laying on my back. There seems to be a large gap between the underside of the alternator, is there another piece to seal this up that goes directly under the alternator?

Actually I'd describe it as on the 'front' of the alternator.

Turns out, I have an extra alternator tin in the basement. Dont have the plastic ring. Gerald, anyone, have one to sell?
