Looking for centre caps for my wheels. Can I use the flatter style caps for these or do I have to use, the cup style?

Only in the back.
The flat caps won't fit the front wheels.

FYI - Porsche Classic has reintroduced the OE style caps for the 914 Alloy wheels - including those 4-lug Fuchs - & sells them through dealers & parts house, as well as online at the link below.

However, check if better priced at either Sunset Porsche OR or Suncoast Porsche FL - since their online parts websites tend to have less mark-up than other dealers.

Note that they are thin stamped metal, so don't hammer on them, & remove them yourself before taking the car to a tire shop, mechanic, etc., & many have cut a short section of PVC pipe to fit over/around the raised portion & land on the outer lip to tap them into the wheel, & a smaller pipe to fit inside the wheel from the back to pop them out safely (remember to smooth & deburr the cut edges of the PVC).

There are also less expensive billet aluminum repros of those which are more sturdy for a DD, with gorillas at the tire stores banging on them, etc. - look over on TheSamba.com for sellers.

Mikes caps fit fine and they are inexpensive. We have his caps and also have highly polished stainless steel that are about the same price. Those three, factory , mikes, and our polished ones are all that fits the factory hole

You can find a PVC pipe coupler at Lowes/Home Depot that, with a little sanding, will work for both removal and installation. You have to sand the outside of the flange down to fit snugly into the center of the wheel, and you have to take 1/8 inch off the inside to make it fit over the cap and touch the flange for installation.

And if you use it a lot, it will shave off the remover side on the sharp edge of the cap.

But it beats the tire monkeys using an hammer handle to bash your pristine center cap out of the wheel.

Thanks for the info. Is there a porsche logo that fits inside the flat centre of those caps?
