When I first moved out to Colorado Springs I had a job at Western Pacific airlines, they were just starting up. They caved after a couple years. However, they did billboards for their airplanes. Marge Simpson with a 30foot boufaunt going up the tail. Here's a model of the plane.

We now own that one. I have a photo of me standing on the tail next to marge. Us mechanics tried to get them not to paint it our normal colors but they did it in SWA standard paint, We also got your Colorado Tech one and the Casino one, |

So the airlines are cutting pilots pay with a sharp scalpel
and they add weight to the planes with all these graphics.. Graphics you can only comprehend up close and when the plane is stopped (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/stromberg.gif) |

I love the Simpson's plane but imagine if it crashed? Talk about a bizarre crash scene.

I dunno, I kinda like it! But then, I fly out of BWI and Southwest is the best choice to get to PBI. |

I don't know, but I wouldn't have a whole lot of confidence getting into a plane with the Simpsons painted all over it. I still have bad memories when landing in El Paso and the pilot screaming over the intercom like he was stopping a horse! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) It was SouthWest, but they are kinda wild anyways.
