Here is an original working coil for 914-6 and 911 motors with a freshly plated bracket with new decal. Hard to find. $145 shipped.

Curious ... what does the decal symbolize? ... not to test the coil with an ohm or volt meter?

My guess is they don't want you to test it with an analog meter. I think that older meters apply current to the circuit to calculate resistance, and perhaps it's enough to produce a spark when you pull the leads away?
