So I think, mine were missing, that there is a single light that is grounded to the fresh air control and then there are 3 others that come on with the dash lights. I need all four with pigtail wires, good bulbs is a plus but I'll swap to LED ultimately.
Anybody have anything? TIA! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Getting closer! |

Check this thread for number of lamps back there -
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=103791 specifically: "There are 2 lights on the heater control activated with the dash lights - one lower left and one lower right (at least on a '73). The red light on the left is not wired by default (on a '73 anyway), but there is a socket for a bulb. You can wire the bulb to either the lead for the dash-activated lights (if you want it to work only when the lights are on) or otherwise to the cigarette hot lead or your stereo hot lead, and then run the ground for the bulb to the heater control level between the seats. I'm pretty sure the heater control lever already acts as the ground for the heater blower motor, so it should be easy enough to hook up another wire." Maybe for the different colors I can order colored bulbs? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Still need the sockets. |

Jeffrey's right on the incandescent versions - if you do go LED, yes - put the same color in as the lens: red behind red, blue behind blue, etc....
Someone here will have the sockets - @bdstone914 @GaroldShaffer ?? |
