They look like rear caliper adjusters, early vs. late.

914-6 calipers use a larger sized thread than 914-4, so I'm guessing that is the difference.
As mentioned they're caliper adjusting screws for sure.

yep, caliper adjusting screws. It was like Christmas morning when I finally got my calipers apart to see them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

yes inner caliper adjusting screws early and late. (early have the skinny threads) These join our outer adjusters we made some time ago and inner adjusting lug
