its an ornament.

fantastic that it still exists.
but you can't drive it.
not unless you are into spending your money before the world ends.
i can think of bigger thrills for 70K than sitting on a chair staring at it.

but it deserves to be preserved onward having said that ----- sadly.

This is a great car, but it will probably never be a trip car or daily driver (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We love our 73 1.7, body never touched with lots of usual rust, but full mechanical restoration. We drive it down 101 and 1 to SFO every couple of years. Best $12K (4k for car and 8k for mechanical restore) we have ever spent!
