I need to get to the longitudinal on the passenger side (of course). I'm looking at a cut something like this:

I've done fiberglass work, done regular dent repairs on steel. Just not sure about bonding this in with no overlap to work with. Any pointers? |

You can do it just taper each side on the face and an overlaping layer on the back.

You can do it with f/g but I would be careful with water and rust in the future. The trick would be to get all the sheet metal bonded and than painted. You'll have to have a lap joint on the backside which will to tough getting access to the back.
Hard to apply f/g vertically and upside down. It gets a little messy with it running and dripping everywhere. Paul |
