I have seen this car. It's really pretty well sorted out and would offer an excellent 1st car without any real work to be done for quite some time. @tvdinnerbythepool may want to link in some of your threads.

Curious, why no shipping? I’d be interested, but I’d need the car shipped.

Usually it means the seller won’t set up shipping. I’m guessing once it’s paid for, he won’t care who picks it up. But if you are a buyer for the car, call the seller and talk. A phone call usually gets everyone on the same page pretty quickly.

Great looking car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Hey guys, Not trying to be a pain with the no shipping. It just really want the buyer to come and see the car in person so they know exactly what they are getting. I just don't want to ship someone a car they haven't seen.

Update from the last time it was posted, I came across a rebuilt by Bosch ECU from the early 80s (and then sat on a shelf for 40 years) and holy cow did it solve some long issues with starting and idle. I went through 4 ECUs before this one with no help. Starts first time!
Anyway, hope to find her a good home for a reasonable price this summer.

Let's talk about Rust. When I got the car the battery tray and hell hole were a mess! That sheet metal was cut out, everything rotten got fresh sheet metal, por15 and painted to keep it sealed. There was a hole under the right rear where the prior owner thought the jacking location was. That was cut out repaired/treated and sprayed with under coating to protect. There was also a small hole in the passenger side jack side post due to a missing cover and water/debris getting in there and getting stuck. That was repaired too. The passenger long which is the one that is notoriously problematic is in really nice shape as pictured. There was some surface rust in both trunks so I sanded, treated and painted those. Little bit of surface rust under the pedal cluster from 50 years of wet feet and a wooden board holding the moisture. That was taken down to bare metal and also given the POR15 treatment. I will not say this car is "no rust"...i'm just not aware of any rust that hasn't been addressed already.

What’s left?
It's not a perfect car. It is 53 years old with fuel injection from the 1960's!
At some point the seats could use some new covers. I have recovered (over the original material) the seat bottoms, easily removed.
The paint has some imperfections but overall still shines and looks great! It is a repaint of the original tangerine, not sure from when. It is smothered in wax and comes with a cover to keep it protected!
