Neither of my 73’ /4 were black though I have seen black parts. I can’t recall if it was yelllow chromate or not. Seems to have a yellowish area toward center.
If you’re going for concours perfection you’ll have to do more digging to see what they did at Porsche. ![]() |

The parts you’ve posted aren’t the steering column bearing clamp that I posted. Note the rounded closed in ends on the part I mistakenly posted. Hmm. Now I am baffled. Are those U-clamps perhaps for 911 front anti-roll bar? [edit] nope - looking those up in PET, they are different than parts originally posted. Losing my mind . . . Edit: more looking through PET shows late model 911 rear anti-roll bar u-shape clamps similar (but not exactly the same) as was originally posted. |
