Found this pickup sitting in a field a few weeks ago and finally stopped by this afternoon and got a few pics of it. Any ideas what it may be ?? We have some info off of the serial # tag, but don't want to spoil the fun. Also any ideas as far as year model ?? Any info appreciated !!

Looks like it could be one of the first Nissan or Datsun trucks, or it could be a Studebaker. Hard to tell.

Here is a 1960 Datsun truck. Now that I look at it, it may not be one.

We thought it was a Studebaker too, but that is not it. I have to run a few errands, then I will give a hint off of the serial number tag. We are really hoping to be able to get this thing !!!!

It is a Morris Minor truck. I have had several of the two door cars and one Countryman, a woodie wagon. Fun cars, not much power. You can get lots of parts for them through the Brit mags. I am sure there are sources in the USA for parts.

Yep !!! CCL nailed it. Serial number tag says Morris Motor Company. Don't know what year model though. Still trying to find that out and hopefully some parts sources, and then will see if he can pick it up cheap!!

Try mid to late 50's....there should be a number stamped in the firewall as I remember. I would have to go look at the Minx to really remember.

It is called a Traveller, not Countryman, that is the mini. This one in the pic is a 1967.

Thanks guys !!!! Found a couple of pics myself. Will have to get pack to it to get the numbers off of the tag and firewall. He is really excited about trying to get it because there are not any around here that we know of. I think it could be a fun project to do !!! Here is a pic that I found that would explain the hooks on the sides of the bed and the snaps on the top of the cab and on the tailgate.
