Hey guys..
My seat belts worked fine when removed 2 years ago (Sounds like a great e-bay ad hu?) Last night I pulled them off the shelf, to prep them for installation, and to my suprise they didn't work. I could not pull the strap out. It only pulls out about a 1/2"-3/4" then locks?? Can the seat belt assembly be taken apart? I seem to recall a massive spring/coil inside that shouldn't be messed with. Any thoughts? Thanks Kerry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) |

the retractor needs to be held in the aprox position it would be in when installed. ie up and down.

QUOTE(rhodyguy @ Aug 1 2003, 06:26 AM) the retractor needs to be held in the aprox position it would be in when installed. ie up and down. yepp. if you don't hold it perfectly straight, the safety lock will engage. hold it upright and pull slow and it should work fine. Andy |
