Skys the limit on that one...
I think it will exceed 125K maybe more. And you will end up with an excellent INVESTMENT but you'll want another (more beaten up or already restored) to actually take out into traffic. Any major accident with that BAT car will seriously degrade its value... If you want one to hold or show, that's the car If you want one to drive, it's not! Now, in your post you stated "Preservation" class. If "preservation" means "survivor" that has never been fully restored or had serious metal work (rust/accidents) those the very hardest cars to find. The BAT car is cleaner and more original than anything I've seen in three years of actively watching the market. It's the only "survivor" 914-6 I've seen listed. And it's not a "perfect" survivor as it appears to have had some panels repainted; a true survivor would have no paint at all. I don't believe you will see a cleaner more original car for sale in a decade... So, you posted "Preservation" and that car appears on the radar. Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket, you seem lucky. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ninja.gif) |

I feel big responsibility owning such a thing, which takes the enjoyment and fun factor, out of it! Appreciate your inputs and observation! I need to modify my wanted Ad! |

This just popped up on BAT, no affiliation: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-porsche-914-6-115/ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I don’t know these early cars well, but the inner front left doesn’t look right and the door gaps are not great. There is also overspray in several areas… not a bad job. We are also looking for a great example and expect to pay, but waiting for a trusted member to decide to let one go. |

Here’s mine I sold on BAT back in 2018, buyer relisted it on BAT in 2021 only bid to $79,000. Not sure where it is now but worth trying to locate it was a nice one.
