I spent about 4-5 hours refinishing my Triad today... GULF ORANGE!!! WOOHOO!

exhaust temp at cylinder is 1400 - 1600 degrees.........

real hot....
i thought 600deg paint was enough, thought very wrong..... it turned kinda greyish-white, left some powdery stuff on the surface then went back to rusting.... b |
