Hello - I lost my wiring diagram for the wiper motor in my '75 914 2.0. I installed the wiper assembly and I have 4 spade connectors on the back of the motor, looking at the assembly from the front of the car - 1 horizontal at the top, 1 vertical to the right, left and bottom, and 1 spade connector off to the right by itself, which looks like probably a ground. There are 5 wires with connectors BLU/BLK, BRN (2 brown wires into one connector), BLK, RED/WHT+RED/BLK (2 wires going into one connector), and GRN/WHT.

Please can anyone help by telling me the position as per my description that these wires should be connected? I have the wiring diagram in the Haynes book which is really of no help, at least for me, as it doesn't show which wires go to which connectors. There are no numbers next to the spade connectors.

TIA!

Ahh, Grasshopper - you are a life saver! Thanks. I'll look for your post tomorrow - can't tell you how much I appreciate it as I can't proceed to install the rest of the junk until I connect those wires!

ok, Black and blue goes to the top connector, the green and white goes to the connector on the left, the black one goes on the bottom, and the red/white + red/black wires go to the connector on the right. Hope the helps with your project, i'm reinstalling my harness now too, so if you need anything else just email or PM me.

Awesome Barry - thanks again.

Not sure about intermittent wiper - the car has been apart for several years now and just now getting around to putting all back together. But the wire colors that Grasshopper has and mine are the same so I am going to go with those connections.

Thanks for the help!
