on the oil filter assemble
the nipple that the filter attaches to what size and thread is that? it looks like i just cross threaded id like to get a die and run it over the nipple and correct those threads i have to go to school tomorrow morning though and my dad (flatvw) is gonna try to find a die for that so i kinda need to know the size and thread tonight if at all possible thanks for all the help so far -jim |

or just nix the stock oil filter setup, tap for some nipples at the same location, run some rubber lines or whatever you want to a bug oil filter setup....seen it done, looks good.

If you dimple the oil cooler next to the bolt head you can get a 1/4 drive 13mm socket over the bolt for the oil filter adapter.
Then remove it and replace it. BTDT.... But no one will believe that I can do it...... |

just drop the motor (1hr)
pull some of the surrounding tin and front cover (20 min) pull engine bar (10 min) SWAP out OIL FILTER console ( 20 min) instalation is the opposite of removal. AA |
