didn't think much of them at first, but they're kinda growing on me
plus they were cheap and fairly lightweight

OZ racing 3 piece wheels

got 2 sets...
first set I bought (450 including decent tires)
17x8 et48 with 215/45/17 tires and 17x8.5 et56 with 245/40/17 tires

second set I got for free (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
17x8.5 et56 and 17x9 et50
(no tires)

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/blog-1129511999.jpg)

the front 8J's fit nicely with a 21mm spacer
haven't fitted them to the rear yet (5 lug rear susp. isn't mounted to the car yet)

whadda ya think?

Unless they're actually multi-piece wheels, the bolt heads ruin it for me. I'd like them ass a one piece wheel.

I agree that they could use some spiffing up with some color. OZ makes a good wheel from what I hear....looks are secondary to lightness & strength.....my .02

nope... real deal 3 piece wheels
once I figure out what color(s) the car will be, I'll have the wheels painted to match (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

When you say paint, you do mean just the centers, right? That will make 'em look pretty good I think.

ok wiseass... here's without the hubcabs (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

painting just the centers would mean I'd have to take the wheels apart (which means getting new bolts/nuts, new gaskets and hope they are airtight after I put them back together)
and I would have to polish the outer rim halfs (and I hate polishing)

so I'll prolly have them blasted and paint 'm all one color
