Hey everybody
I have been lurking around here searching out some posts on what I am going to do with my 914 and reading all the enthusiatic posts has really made me get out there and do something, so after 6 years years my car is back on the road, lookingf a bit different and I lowered the front end at the weekend (took 2 mins, after lookin out some old posts - thanks guys). So I have front and rear weltmeister sway bars I got about 3 years ago and a set of red Konis and uprated springs. I want to fit the weltmeisters but have no instructions and dont even know if the kit is complete, can anyone help me out with this? Al Scotland) |

Very easy, I searched old posts by searching for "lowered front end"and found one with a pic of the front suspension. There is a 11mm nut on each leg on the underside of the suspension, turn this as if slackening it, I did 2 turns each side and closed the gap from tyre to wing by about 1.5 inches took 5 mins.

Call Weltmeister at 800-588-7448 and ask them for the component list for the items in the kit. That's where I would start.

www.weltmeister.com is the website. I am sure that they have an email contact there.
I think the country code of the US is 01, but I am not certain. You can also look here: http://www.countrycallingcodes.com/results...=18&Submit.y=26 |

Can't help with the front but I asked this question about the rear a few months back. Some pictures and links to a scan of the rear instructions.
Welt Rear Sway Good luck! |

Pelican has a Tech Article on front sway bar installation. I don't know if it talks about what makes a "complete" Welt kit or not, but it is a good step-by-step guide.
