I broke the retainer stud for the #2 fuel injecter.
Has anyone drilled the third hole on 1.8 intakes and used them? I have tried to extract the broken stud, but have failed and will need to re-thread. I have the 1.8 intakes stairing at me saying put me in. Their is about 1/3" difference in the injector placement. I don't think it should matter. Any thoughts --- Let't'm roll (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |

Just drill it out, helicoil it and restud...in theory, there is no pressure at that point...only vacuum.

The 1.8 pipes are longer than the 2.0 ones. You'll have to cut them off a bit to get a good fit.
