I'm looking for members who want to redo their seats with the original plaid style material that was used in the 75-76 models. I have spoken with Doug - SMS Upholstery and he's willing to recreate the tartan material. If interested please email me at rhsouth@ev1.net or leave me a message (281)548-7022.
Thank You |

My 76 which is Malaga red, a dark red, had plaid sets. I wonder if the fabric is the same as that used in the bright red cars of that year? I remember the same plaid material was used in VW's of that time. A friend of mine had a dark red Scirroco with plaid seat inserts.

I would definetly be interested in the red one on the bottom the pic that double-a posted. My car originally came with that, but was ripped up, so we recovered it.

I'd be interested in the yellow.
(remember, yellow is faster (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) I really like the Barclay Dress Tartan on the Tartan interiors pages. Damn, if I read this correctly, this pattern was created by John de Berchelai in 1069 A.D.!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |
