I was driving allong and al of a sudden the tach stops working ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) any thoughts?

Check wire on the coil. It can wiggle off and you will get no tach signal.

Check connections on both ends.

I discovered that the hot wire on my coil was so brittle, that is broke off in the shrink wrap, and 'twas invibbible to der nekkid Iee.
