On my trip to Germany (to bring my teener back home) I also visited another friend from the bavarian 914 group. Toni has found an original /6 a couple of years ago. Nothing special, but this car was first registered in Germany just on his birthday. So he bought it and started a complete restoration, dismounted every single screw and started at bare metal. He's a kind of perfectionist and made some sweet improovements - no expenses spared.
Now it's getting closer to finish and I saw the car. It's a metallic blue '70 with gasburners (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
