I'm thinking I saw a thread in the past but I can't find it now. While doing some cleanup on an inner CV joint the bearing cage and bearings came apart. What's the correct technique to reassemble? I can get it together but can't get it to pivot
correctly?

Thanks in advance,
Ron (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

The Haynes manual has a pretty good description on how to get them back together.

When I did mine it took me a couple of tries but it eventually went back together okay...

If it worked first try, you might have not got it in correctly. A while back I remember I thought I had it first try but if the CV doesnt move up and down the shaft, then you dont have it fitted correctly.

ps. dont forget your MoS2 paste
