Summit Point Raceway

here's a clip of my weekends antics. I hadnt been to Summit Point in a few years. What a track!!!. Running with the NASA people was a trip, not nearly as rigid as PCA events. My car ran great the weather was fantastic. Im going to push the envelope a bit and try to fit an track day in at Lime Rock next week..

I forgot to set the focus to infinity, so in some spots you get a great view of the pits in my windshield (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

Does anyone know what the rythmic popping is in the video? Im still trying to figure out how to make a decent video

nice video!
but why did you let that 911 pass? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

the "popping sound" is something mechanical from inside your car.

awsome video, looks good to me. If I can figure out how to get video out of my camcorder and onto the computer, I will post some footage from the SCCA/VDCA event we had last weekend.

Andy,

that 911 is my friend with the 3.6 turbo im gonna tell you all about (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif) that car is about 900hp.

The popping isnt something in the car, It happened after I rendered the video. If I play from the mini dv directly into the TV no popping. After editing and rendering popping.....wtf?

yes, details please (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

as for the popping, it does sound real. not sure what that means.
loose ground while transfering the video? i mean, on the cable? i had that before, cable was fucked up and had grounding issues and you would get popping in the sound. not as bad as yours tho.

Cool video!! Keep that right foot mashed to the floor for another couple seconds on the long straight away until you reach the right-hander. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)
