I've got a Mallory Hyfire 6A on the way. I just printed out my instructions and I've got all my electrical connectors and wiring ready to do the install. Before I dive in, though: I believe the L-jetronic injection system uses ignition pulses to drive it. Will I need an adapter for the injection system to work with my Hyfire? I guess I could wire it up and test it out, but i'd prefer not to install it twice...

nope...
same way your tach can avoid an adapter.... just tee into the signal wire from the pertronix/points to the box (white wire on box iirc) |
