Well, I took it for a drive around the block after being in the garage for more than 17 years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Here's a short video (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

After taking a few spins around the block and hitting the throttle (spiritly) in 2nd gear the teen'r feels like it's going to run circles around it's stable mate. Now I just wish winter wasn't coming. This car is going to be fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Yup, putting an access panel on the firewall made it Soooooo much easier to work on the front of the engine.

I have to admit, I watched it three times. It'll be in my dreams tonight, but it will be blue, I'll be driving!

Sad, but I used to dream about hot girls

Congrats to you! Welcome to the shit eating grin group, first drives are once only things, real nice looking car. How noisy is it with that access panel? Seems like a pretty good idea to me.

I don't know yet, I drove around with the panel off. The panel that covers the hole is made from a piece of a stock firewall and will be covered with Dynamat Extreme. So I wouldexpect the noise level to be minimal.

I had my Jack Daniels Saturday night after all was said and done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Even though there's no bumper or glass yet I thought this was a neat photo, and yes.... I need spacers on the front wheels

I like your license plates, but it should really read:

"DER 3PT8" and "DER 2PT5"

My car is not quite as pretty as yours,, but I DEFINATELY can relate to breathing some life into some thing that's been sitting sooo long. My car took a little longer than yours, and is nowhere near as nice.

CONGRATULATIONS for driving her under her own power!
